HUGO NIERHAUS Takes His Own Life
Hugo Nierhaus, an employee of Richard McGrevy, at his Fourth street home in this city committed suicide thee yesterday morning by shooting himself through the head. He used a revolver. Deceased had been in bad health for some time past and lately had given evidence of an unsettled mind. Nierhaus, though he had lived here for several years, was but little known. He had been a sailor and had seen much of the world. He was a man of considerable education and is said to have wealthy relatives in Germany.
Coroner Sawyer took charge of the remains and an inquest will be held.
