MISS MARY CORDEIRO Is Laid to Rest At Mt. Olivet Saturday
Funeral services were held Monday morning for Miss Mary Cordeiro, San Rafael girl, who passed away from a heart attack Saturday morning, the day on which her sister, the former Miss Rose Cordeiro, was wed at St. Raphael’s Church to Charles Cook, Jr.
Miss Cordeiro had been suffering for many years with a heart ailment, but her death cam unexpectedly and was a sad blow to the family. She was but 24 years of age, a member of the U.P.P.E.C. and attended the San Rafael High School.
In St. Raphael’s church, the scene of a quiet wedding Saturday, funeral services were held for Miss Cordeiro Monday. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Surviving Miss Cordeiro, in addition to her sister, are her mother, Mrs. Mary Cordeiro, and three brothers, Simon, John and Filbert.
