Death Summons Mrs. J. Hetrick
Death visited the home of Mr. J. Hetrick at Black Point, last Friday evening when his wife Elizabeth Hetrick passed away. Mrs. Hetrick had been ill for a long time, being confined to her bed for over a year.
She was in her fiftieth year, a native daughter, being born in Plumas county, California in 1856.
She was the daughter of Mr. George Penman, deceased, and a sister of Mrs. J. Gill, Mrs. L. Lawton and Miss M. Penman of Novato. Mrs. Hetrick had no children of her own, but raised sev- (missing line of print)
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Novato Presbyterian church, the Rev. Robt. Crichton officiating.
Mrs. Hetrick had found a warm spot in the heart of each one who knew her and leaves many friends w ho sincerely mourn her death.
