ROBERT W. McALLISTER
A private memorial service for Robert William McAllister of Rohnert Park, a former Marin resident, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Sorensen Funeral Home, Petaluma.
McAllister died Sunday at his home after an illness. He was 77.
A native of Canada, McAllister spent most of his life in Marin County. He had worked more than 45 years as an electrician in the maintenance department for the County of Marin.
After his retirement, he and his wife, “Nan” McAllister, moved to Rohnert Park.
He is also survived by a son, John McAllister of Tiburon; two daughters, Roberta Locati of Tiburon and Margaret Searcy of Buffalo, Wyo.; two sisters, Hazel Kennedy of San Francisco and Mrs. Walter Darts of Canada; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Lung Association of the Redwood Empire, P.O. Box 1482, Santa Rosa, 95403.
