ELIZABETH J. BREGANTE
Elizabeth J. Bregante, a Marin resident for 31 years, died Thursday in a local hospital after a year-long illness. She was 63.
She was born in Chicago, Ill.
She was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation and of Peacock Gap Country Club.
Her husband, Joseph Bregante, formerly was a co-owner of Scotty’s Market in Terra Linda. She also is survived by two daughters, Betty Jo Heath of Alameda and Diane Quinn of San Francisco, and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Sylvester’s Church at Peacock Gap, followed by burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
