RAYMOND E. POLIQUIN
Funeral service for Raymond E. Poliquin of Petaluma will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Redwood chapel Funeral Home in Novato.
He died at a local hospital on Friday after a short illness. He was 54.
A native of Central Falls, R.I., he had recently moved to Petaluma from Novato, where he had lived since 1960.
He was a plant foreman for the Novato Sanitary District. He previously had worked for the Novato Water co. for seven years.
He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Marin Rod and Gun Club and the Novato Horsemen’s Association.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Poliquin of Petaluma; two daughters, Linda Cullins and Ramona Jean Poliquin, both of Petaluma; two step-daughters, Sandra Roscoe of Lakeport and Deanna Burnelle of Petaluma; two brothers, Wilrose Poliquin of Rhode Island and Reni Poliquin of Massachusetts; two sisters, Louise LaFerriea of Redwood City and Jane Cox of Santa Rosa; his mother, Bertha Poliquin of Rhode Island; and one grandson.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at the chapel. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
The family prefers contributions to the American Heart Association, American Heart Fund or the Cancer Society.
