Charles Forest (sic), a boat man of Sausalito died on Friday last. He had been a resident of Sausalito for about forty years, where he was employed in the boat business. He was about 70 years of age and was a highly respected citizen.

Another Pioneer Gone
Friday, May 22nd marked the going of Charles Forrest (sic), a resident of California 50 years and of Sausalito 45 years. He was the proprietor of a boating establishment and was worth at the time of his death about $50,000.
He was buried without service as was his dying request, by the Steven Eden Undertaking Company. The interment took place May 25, Monday, in the Cypress Lawn cemetery, Sausalito.
The deceased was a native of Denmark and 71 years of age.
