GERALD ARNOLD THOMPSON
Private family services for Gerald Arnold Thompson of Billings, Mont. a former Marin resident and San Francisco radio announcer, were held in Montana.
Thompson died in a Billings area hospital May 19. He was 46.
He was born in San Francisco and lived most of his life in the Bay Area. He lived in Marin for many years and in Petaluma for a year. He moved to Montana a few years ago.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
Thompson worked as an announcer and engineer for KSFO radio in San Francisco for about 20 years. He also worked for radio station KBMY in Billings as sales manager.
Thompson was a member of the Toastmasters Club and was a scuba diver.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; two sons, Kenneth K. Thompson of Tiburon and Waco Thompson of Billings; a brother, Paul Thompson of Bellflower, Los Angeles County; and a sister, Marion Scafani of Anaheim.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahl mortuary in Billings.
