LAURA C. ALLEN
Laura C. Allen, a longtime resident of Greenbrae, died Monday in a local hospital. She was 70.
A native of Rushville, N.Y., she was a homemaker and active in local affairs. She was a member of the League of Women Voters and the United Presbyterian Women.
She is survived by a daughter, Rolline Vestal of Sebastopol; a sister, Barbara Hendrix of Alabama; and a brother, Leland Voovhees of Florida.
Funeral services are pending at the First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo.
The family prefers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or the Easter Seal Society.

The June 4 paper, on page 6, has an announcement that the memorial service will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Inurnment to be in Rushville, N.Y.
A Death Notice in the June 4 paper adds that she was the niece of James Blodgett of N.Y. and Florida, Vernon Blodgett of N.Y. and Mary Blodgett of N.Y.
