ALFRED PISTOCHINI
Alfred Pistochini of Santa Clara, father of Zigomar Pistochini of Kentfield, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was 85.
He was a native of Oleggio, Italy, and became an engineer after moving to the United States. He worked in that capacity for 25 years for the Emporium department stores.
He is survived by his son; a daughter, Dorothy Puppo of San Jose; a sister, Almerina Pistochini of Italy; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held Wednesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Crippled Children’s Society or a favorite charity.
