MARY GEORGE ZARO
A funeral for Mary George Zaro of Mill Valley will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church in Ignacio.
Mrs. Zaro, 74, died at home Wednesday after a recent heart attack.
She was born in Pennsylvania and moved to California in the 1940s. She married George Leo Zaro, Marin restaurateur and Mill Valley area property owner, 22 years ago.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven sisters, Carrie Norman, Amelia Solomon, Victoria Baroody, Julie Nadeau, Minnie Ellis, Lillian Jackson and Josephine Burke, and a brother, Anthony George.
Burial will be in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Trisagion service will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Nativity of Christ Church. Friends may call at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
