RICHARD J. BURRILL
Mass of Christian Burial was offered this morning at St. Isabella’s Church in Terra Linda for Richard J. Burrill who died Saturday in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was 74.
He was a native of Joliet, Ill., and a graduate of Loyola University. Burrill was last employed as the western regional manager for the American Math Company, He made his home at 9 Marin View Drive in the Marin Valley Mobile Home Estates.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Lila Burrill, of Novato; four daughters, Virginia Bronk of Livermore, Patricia Goffo, of Antioch, Ill., Myra Robinson of Crystal Lake, Ill, and Lila Chapin of Santa Rosa; four sons, Michael J. Burrill of Rohnert Park, Richard J. Burrill Jr., of San Ramon, Gregory J. Burrill of San Rafael, and Phillip Burrill of San Anselmo; a brother, the Rev. Ignatius Burrill of Wilmette, Ill.; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Inurnment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael under the auspices of Keaton’s Mortuary of San Rafael. Memorial contributions to the American Heart Fund are preferred by the family.
