ETHEL KERRIGAN

Ethel M. Kerrigan, who had lived at Nazareth House in Terra Linda for the past several years, died there Saturday after a long illness. She was 87.

Miss Kerrigan was born and reared in San Francisco. She moved to San Anselmo in 1922, where she lived until going to Nazareth House eight years ago.

She was retired, having served as secretary to a private investigator in San Francisco for 30 years. She also worked as a librarian for Naval Intelligence for seven years during the World War II period.

Miss Kerrigan was a charter member of the Del Mar Institute No. 66, Young Ladies Institute.

Surviving is an adopted son, Douglas H. Johnson of Fairfax.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tonight at 7 at Nazareth House. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations to Nazareth House are preferred.

A Death Notice in the same paper states that she was the daughter of Ellen M. and James J. Kerrigan, and sister of the late William J. and Eugene J. Kerrigan.
