MARY HORTON
Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis Episcopal Church for Mary McMurray Horton who died yesterday afternoon following a lengthy illness. She was 86.
A native of Indianapolis, Mrs. Horton had lived in Novato since 1966, making her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Frank Well (sic), 1554 Buchanan Street.
She had lived in the Bay area since 1919 when she came here to marry the late Thomas Norwood Horton. He was employed in the traffic department of Pacific Telephone Company and the couple lived on the Peninsula and in the East Bay before moving to Santa Rosa in 1951.
Besides her daughter and son-in-law, she leaves three grandchildren, Paul Weller (sic), of Arcata, Peggy Weller, of Sacramento and Lynn Kirkwood, also of Sacramento.
Friends may call at the Redwood Chapel funeral home until the funeral Saturday. Inurnment will be at Chapel of the Chimes in Santa Rosa.
