Beloved Woman Claimed by Death

The death of Miss Georgina Finlayson which occurred Tuesday morning, following a lingering illness, saddened many homes in the community. She was for many years assistant treasurer of the Presbyterian Orphanage at San Anselmo and at the time of her death was a director. She held the position of secretary of the Presbyterian church and was also secretary for many years of the local chapter of the Eastern Star. She was beloved by all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her passing a host of friends, her mother, Mrs. Jane Finlayson, her sister, Mrs. Nelson Elliot and her brother, Norman Finlayson.

The funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the family home on Marin street. Dr. Lynn T. White and Rev. J. J. Canoles read the last prayers.
