Funeral of Mr. Brandon
A number of San Rafael people went to Petaluma on Saturday to attend the funeral of the late Elvus Brandon, of Hicks Valley, who died at San Francisco after a brief illness.
Among them were Judge Edgar T. Zook, County Clerk Graham, County Recorder Holland, Assessor P. H. Cochrane, Tax Collector Saunder, Auditor Eugene Connell, Sheriff Keating, Judge T. J. Lennon, District Attorney T. P. Boyd, Mr. and Mrs. Olmsted, Mrs. Otto Ingle, Miss Lena Jones, and others. The Petaluma Lodge of Elks attended in a body.
Among the pallbearers were Messrs. Holland, Graham, and Cochrane of San Rafael. The funeral was attended by a large number of friends from Marin and Sonoma counties.
