ERNEST A. GHISLETTA
Ernest A. Ghisletta, 77, retired Point Reyes Station rancher, died yesterday at a local hospital after a six-month illness.
He was born and reared in Switzerland and moved to the United States in 1920, settling at Point Reyes Station. Ghisletta had operated a dairy ranch there until his retirement 10 years ago.
Ghisletta had lived at 721 Western Avenue, Petaluma, since his retirement.
He is survived by a daughter, Ernestine Ghisletta of Escalon, San Joaquin County; a sister, Sabrina Rigoni of Petaluma and three sisters in Switzerland.
Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent De Paul Church, Petaluma. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Sorensen Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
