WALTER WARFIELD
Funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Redwood Chapel for Walter Warfield, retired electrician, who died Friday evening at Marin General Hospital at the age of 84.
He was born March 9, 1893 in San Francisco and lived all his life in California. He moved to Novato seven years ago making his home at 900 San Pablo Way.
He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U.S. Army. Warfield was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Number 6, San Francisco. He had been employed as an electrician for Straver and Smith contractors in San Francisco.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Mildred Walker of Sonoma, and Alice Steven, of Dallas; two brothers, Carl and Henry Warfield, of San Francisco and seven grandchildren.
Inurnment was private.
