WILLIAM C. REINECKE
Funeral was to be held this week in Phillips, Nebraska, for William Charles Reinecke who died early Thursday after collapsing from an apparent heart attack at his home at Hamilton Air Force Base. He was 36.
He was a naval chief petty officer and had lived at Hamilton since December.
Reinecke was a native of Grand Island, Neb., and lived there and in Texas and Germany before joining the Navy in 1958. He served in New Mexico, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts and Italy, among other places.
His most recent assignment was at Mare Island in Vallejo. He was a member of Keystone Lodge No. 12, Free and Accepted Masons of Phillips, Nebraska.
Survivors include his wife, Marie of Novato; a son, Joseph and a daughter, Carla, both of Novato; three brothers, Thomas and David Reinecke, both of Phillips, and Michael Reinecke of Ehrenburg, Ariz.; two sisters, Helen Adams of Duarte, Los Angeles County, and Marian Ward of Simi Valley; and his grandmother, Mrs. Nell Hunt of Phillips.
