JOAN M. LOWREY
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Friday at Our Lady of Loretto Church for Joan M. Lowrey who died Wednesday at a local hospital after a short illness. She was 44.
A native of Montana, she grew up there and in California, and moved to Novato in 1956. She was employed s a secretary for Summit Builders here, and made hr home at 10 Hune Circle.
Mrs. Lowrey is survived by her husband, Mark B. Lowrey of Novato; two daughters, Karen Simmons, of San Francisco and Lisa Lowrey of Novato; her parents, Ann and Dan Turanjanin of San Francisco, and her sister, Diane Novak of Kent, Washington.
Memorial gifts to the American Heart Association are preferred by the family.
