ALBIN JOHNSON
Memorial service was held yesterday at Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel in Colma for Albin Johnson who died Sunday in a local hospital following a long illness. He was 82.
Johnson was a retired San Francisco general contractor in the firm of Pearson and Johnson Company.
He was a native of Oakland and lived most of his life in San Francisco before moving to Novato two years ago after living in Palm Springs.
He was a member of Masonic Victory Lodge 474 and Islam Temple, Ancient Egyptian Order of Scots, a past master of Masonic Lodge 168 and a life member of Scottish Rite Freemasonry, all of San Francisco.
He was also a member of the Indian Valley Golf Club.
His wife, Alice Mitchell Johnson, of Novato, survives him.
