Father Crowley’s Mother Aged 86 Dies In Ireland
Mrs. Jane Crowley, aged 86, mother of Father Crowley, of St. Patrick’s Church, Larkspur, died at her home in Bantry, County Cork, Ireland, last Monday morning.
She was the mother of thirteen children. All, except one, are living. Five are in Ireland, four in Chicago, two in the Sisters of Mercy – Slater M. Rosario at the Mercy Hospital, Waratah, N.S.W., Australia, and Sister M. Kelvin of Monte Pio, West Maitland, Australia.
A solemn requiem mass will be offered up for the repose of her soul Tuesday morning September 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s church, Larkspur, to which the clergy, parishioners and all friends are invited.
