Mother of John Burt Dies at Advanced Age
Mrs. Frances Clerk Maxwell Murdock Burt, mother of John Burt, manager of the Municipal Water District, passed away Tuesday at Glenair House in Mill Valley. She was a native of Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland. She has resided in Mill Valley for 35 years and was 90 yeas of age at the time of her death.
In addition to Manager Burt, she leaves the following sons and daughters, F. M. Burt and A. B. Burt, the latter an assistant engineer of the Water Co., and Fanny M. and Janet Burt.
The funeral services will be held Friday at 11 o’clock in the parlors of Keaton and Dusel. Rev. Ernest Bradley will officiate.
