Mass of the Christian Burial was offered this afternoon at St. Sylvester’s Church in San Rafael for Conception Martinez who died Monday at her home at 7 Joan Avenue following along illness. She was 83.
She was a native of Cuba and moved to the United States in 1946 living in New York and San Francisco before coming to Marin County seven years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Maria Martinez, and a son, Joe Lancaster, both of Novato, and two grandchildren.
Burial was at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery under the auspices of Williams and Heffernan Mortuary, San Rafael.
