JAMES C. BOWLES
Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin for James C. Bowles who collapsed at his home Tuesday night and died of an apparent heart attack. He was 58.
A native of Los Angeles, he had been a resident of Novato for 18 years and made his home at 2 Tyler Court.
Before moving here he lived in San Francisco where he worked 33 years for DeSoto Cab company.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy E. Bowles, of Novato; a daughter, Shirley Ann Emis of Glen Ellen; a son, James C. Bowles Jr., also of Glen Ellen, and one granddaughter.
