RICHARD COURTNEY
Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin for Richard T. Courtney, 51, who died Monday at Novato Community Hospital after a sudden illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Loretto Church followed by interment at Bahia Valley Memorial Park.
Mr. Courtney, who lived at 133 San Carlos Way, is survived by his wife Nora; three sons – Michael, Patrick, and Thomas Courtney, and three daughters – Cathy, Teresa, and Jennifer Courtney, all of Novato.
Also by three brothers – Joe and Bob Courtney of Kansas City, Missouri, and Jack Courtney of Independence, Missouri; two sisters – Patricia Tearney and Margaret Courtney, both of Kansas City, and one granddaughter, Melissa.
A native of Kansas, he attended Kansas University. He moved to San Rafael 12 years ago and moved to Novato in 1971.
He was branch manager of Western Waterproofing of San Francisco.
