DAVID GIBBONS

Mass of Christian Burial was offered today at St. Ignatius Church in San Francisco for David B. Gibbons of Novato, a school bus driver, who died Sunday in a local hospital after a brief illness.

Gibbons, 62, was a native of San Francisco and was a limousine operator there for many years. For the past five years he had been a bus driver for San Rafael City Schools. He was a member of the Teamsters Union in San Francisco.

He had lived in Novato 13 years. The family home is at 1134 Lea Drive.

Gibbons served with the Army in World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Gibbons; a daughter, Marie T. Gibbons of Antioch; two step-children, Richard J. Taylor and Wanda White, both of Redding; a sister, Margaret Gibbons of San Francisco, and three grandchildren.

Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
