FREDERICK H. BARNES
Frederick H. Barnes, longtime certified public accountant in San Francisco, died unexpectedly Saturday at his home in Belvedere after becoming ill suddenly. He was 63.
Barnes was a native of Seattle, Wash.
He was a partner in Hood and Strong accounting firm in San Francisco for 31 years. He was a member of the Merchants Exchange Club and the Family Club.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kay Barnes of the family home; two daughters, Amy Barnes Bonady and Zoe Anne Barnes, and his sister, Constance Nickell of Spokane, Wash.
An informal memorial service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the family home, 32 Beach Road.
The family prefers memorial contributions to St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco or a favorite charity.
