RALPH C. O’NEILL

Memorial services for Ralph C. O’Neill of San Francisco, a former editorial cartoonist, will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Corte Madera.

O’Neill died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital. He was 48.

He was a graphic artist and worked for the state Department of Labor Relations. His primary interest was cartooning, and he worked for several papers, including the Independent-Journal.

A native of San Francisco, he lived in Corte Madera and Kentfield for 10 years. He was living in San Francisco when he died. He was a member of the Holy Innocents Episcopal Church and a veteran of the Korean War.

O’Neill is survived by two brothers, Thomas Jr. of San Rafael and Malcolm of Corte Madera; his parents, Thomas Sr. of Canada and Elmira of San Francisco; and a son, Dan, and two daughters, Cindy and Joyce, all of San Rafael.

Private burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
