LEONA J. EVANS
Memorial services for Leona J. Evans of San Rafael will be a 3 p.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s Mortuary.
Mrs. Evans died Wednesday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 69.
A native of San Francisco, she worked for the parks and recreation department there 25 years ago. She and her husband, Albert, moved to San Rafael 17 years ago. He is a retired San Francisco policeman.
She is survived by her husband and a brother Charles Icthers of Calistoga.
Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery,
