ROBERT MOELLER
Private funeral has been held for Robert Moeller, 52, retired Marin County orthodontist, who died unexpectedly at his home in Sonoma Monday.
Dr. Moeller practiced in Novato for 15 years before retiring last year. He also maintained an office in Mill Valley from 1960 to 1967.
He was born in Illinois but spent most of his life in California. He was a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the U.C. School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
During the past 17 years, he had lived at various times in Novato and Sonoma, making his home there for the past year.
He was a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Surviving are three sons, Rob Moeller of Santa Cruz, Steven Moeller of Aspen, Colo., and Gregory Moeller of Novato; a daughter, Sherry Moeller of Sonoma; his mother, Marie Eldred of Honolulu, Hawaii; his father, Earne Moeller of Anaheim, and his sister, Maxine Thompson of Corvallis, Ore.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, Northern California Chapter, 399 Buena Vista Avenue East, San Francisco.
