MICHAEL HARRIS
A memorial service for Michael B. Harris, formerly of Marin, was held today in Conway, Wash.
Harris, 26, died Tuesday in an auto accident near Seattle.
He had been returning from work to his home in Mount Vernon at the time of the accident. He was a seaman for Crowley Tugs on Puget Sound.
Born and reared in Marin County, he graduated from Sir Francis Drake high School and attended College of Marin before going to sea.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer, and 12-month-old daughter, Brooke, both of Mount Vernon; his parents, Leif and Nancy Harris, both of San Rafael, and his sister, Karen Harris Ayers of Novato.
The family has asked that memorial gifts go to an education fund for his daughter, the Brooke Harris fund, in care of the Greenbrae office of Santa Barbara Savings and Loan, P.O. Box 95, Kentfield 94904.
