FRANK ROSSI

Mass of Christian Burial was held today at St. Sebastian’s Church in Greenbrae for Frank P. Rossi, longtime San Anselmo pharmacist.

Rossi, 69, died Friday at a San Francisco hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in San Francisco and had lived in Marin County 36 years. The family home is in Kentfield.

In 1931, he and his brother, Joseph Rossi, who is also a pharmacist, opened Rossi Brothers Pharmacy in San Anselmo. They operated the business 30 years before selling it in 1961.

Rossi also was active in charitable and professional organizations.

He is survived by his wife, Emma; a daughter, Frances Granville of Kentfield; a son, Louis Rossi of Saratoga, Santa Clara [County]; his brother, a sister, Edith Bastiani of San Francisco, and four grandchildren.

Entombment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

The family prefers memorial gifts to the Leukemia Fund or the American Cancer Society.
