PATRICIA CAPANACCI
Funeral for Patricia Ann Capanacci, former San Rafael switchboard operator, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Parent Funeral Chapel, Petaluma.
Mrs. Capanacci, 49, died Monday in a San Francisco hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born and reared in New York, she moved to California 21 years ago, settling in Los Angeles.
Mrs. Capanacci had lived in Petaluma for 13 years. She had worked as a switchboard operator for the San Rafael Answering Service until five years ago when ill health forced her retirement.
She was a member of the free will Baptist Church of Petaluma.
She is survived by her husband, Douglass F. Capanacci of Petaluma; three daughters, Linda Turner of Penngrove, Cindy Withington of Sebastopol and Charlene Brown of Agoura, Los Angeles County; a son, Larry McNealy of San Leandro; two brothers, Lt. Col. (ret.) Ernest Lansing of Florida and Henry Lansing of Stanton, Orange County; a sister, Nadine Cornish of Carogra, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.
