BOB BORZINI
Bob Borzini, a 55-year resident of San Rafael, died today in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 84.
Borzini was a native of Oleggio, Italy. He came to the United States in 1912 and settled in San Rafael.
Borzini worked for 23 years in San Rafael at the Bordon milk-processing plant, which was torn down a year ago.
After retiring 19 years ago, Borzini spent much of his time fishing and tending his garden.
He is survived by five daughters, Mary Little, Ellen Alexander, Catherine Rufer and Alice Knittel, all of San Rafael, and Margaret Forsher of Castro Valley; a son, John Borzini of San Rafael; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Borzini’s wife of 56 years, Teresa Borzini, died in 1971.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael. The Rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p.m. at Keaton’s Mortuary. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
