EUGENE J. JOHNSON

Funeral for Eugene J. Johnson of Novato will be tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin, Novato.

Johnson, 60, died Sunday at a local hospital after a long illness.

A native of San Francisco, Johnson moved to Novato with his wife, Lorraine, 17 years ago.

He was a supervisor at United Parcel Service in San Francisco, where he had worked the past 25 years.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

He was a member of Guadalupe Parlor, Native Sons of the Golden West of San Francisco and Teamster Union Local 278.

In addition to his wife, Johnson is survived by four daughters, Martha Gaydish of Union City, Mary Johnson, Patricia Johnson and Katherine Johnson, all of Novato; a son, Michael Johnson of Novato; a sister, Marie Aqualina of San Francisco, and one grandson.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tonight at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin, Novato.

Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
