MARY ROSE BURNS

Mary Rose Burns of San Anselmo, a longtime San Francisco bank employee, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 54.

Mrs. Burns was the wife of William Burns, who survives.

She was born at Fort Benning, Ga., and had lived the past 22 years in California. All that time she was a payroll clerk for Wells Fargo Bank.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Col. Francis H. A. McKeon of Florida; her sister, Joanne Cummings of New York, and two brothers, James J. McKeon of Florida and Thomas M. McKeon of Indiana.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Anselm’s Church in San Anselmo Saturday at 9 a.m. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
