ANITA SILVA
Anita E. Silva, a 50-year resident of Marin, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness. She was 79.
Mrs. Silva, a native of San Francisco, has lived in San Rafael for the past 30 years.
She was active in numerous local groups, including the Order of Eastern Star, San Rafael Chapter; Terra Linda Seniors; the Goldenaires and the Marin Rod and Gun Club Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Marcelle Little of Corte Madera; a sister, Daisy Roemer of San Francisco; a brother, George Reed of San Rafael and three grandchildren.
Private funeral was today at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial was private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Paralyzed Veterans of America, Bay Area and Western Chapter, Building No. 7, 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, 94304 or Hospice of Marin, P.O. Box 72, Kentfield, 94904.

A Death Notice in the same paper names her grandchildren: Sue Ghilotti of Sonoma, Jon Little of Chico and Robert Little of San Rafael. She was also the sister of the late Norman Reed and Dorothy Hogan.
