RUBY H. ADAMS
Ruby H Adams, mother of Rose Lee Ball of Greenbrae, died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness. She was 74.
A native of Illinois, Mrs. Adams came to Marin to visit her daughter two months ago.
She worked as a nurse in Metropolis, Ill., for 20 years before retiring in 1962 to become a homemaker. Her husband, Earl Adams, died in 1976. He had been an iron worker for 50 years.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Adams is survived by a son, Jack Adams of San Jose, and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be Monday in Illinois.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that the funeral was at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis, with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
