JOHN B. GARFLIST

John B. Garflist of Tiburon, long-time teamster, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital after a long illness. He was 63.

Garflist was born in Utah but lived most of his life in California. He had lived in Marin County since 1962.

He was a member of Teamsters Union Local No. 216 and had been a teamster for more than 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of the family home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. Burial will be Friday.

Visitation will be at the funeral chapel after 6 p.m. today.
