Death of Pioneer Resident
Michael Gilleran Lived Here for 44 Years
The funeral of Michael Gilleran who died at his home here last Saturday, was held Tuesday morning from Eden’s funeral parlors and St. Raphael’s church. The interment was made in the Catholic cemetery, where a requiem mass was celebrated.
Mr. Gilleran was a respected pioneer resident of this city, having come here from Roscommon, Ireland, nearly a half century ago.
He leaves a widow, Mrs. Sarah Gilleran, to mourn his loss. He was 75 years of age.
