Mrs. Holbrook moved to Marin in 1964 from her native San Francisco with her husband, John Holbrook, owner of the Tia Margarita restaurant in San Francisco.
Mrs. Holbrook, a housewife, was active for many years as a volunteer for the Heart Association, Marin Foundation, The Easter Seal Society and the American Cancer Society.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Sydney Wark of Larkspur, Carole Desalernos of Terra Linda and Patricia Lyons of San Anselmo; a son, Johnathan Holbrook of Mill Valley; two sisters, Mary Hickox of San Francisco and Joan Martin of Daly City; two brothers, Sydney Rosner of San Mateo and William Rosner of Westlake; and six grandchildren.
Memorial Mass will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Monica’s Church in San Francisco.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
