FRANCIS BRAY
Francis A. Bray of San Rafael, a certified public accountant and auditor, died yesterday in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was 72.
Bray was born and reared in San Francisco and lived there until about 10 years ago when he moved to Marin County. He lived in San Anselmo before moving to San Rafael.
He was an auditor and accountant for Shreve & Co. in San Francisco for many years, and recently was semiretired, working for the Gem Maker in Strawberry.
Bray is survived by his wife, Marjorie; two sons, Robert Bray of Danville and Richard Bray of Rohnert Park; two daughters, Lorraine Preola and Joan Pettit, both of Novato, and 12 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight at Keaton’s Mortuary.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
