Death Removes Pioneer Scion
Death came to Arthur A. Berrisson (sic), of Fairfax, last Friday, thus removing a member of one of Marin county’s early families. The Berissons were among the Spanish settlers of early days and at one time owned much of the land which now comprises Fairfax and the territory surrounding it.
The deceased was 39 years of age.
He is survived by three children, Josephine, Bernice and Louis Berisson.
The funeral was held Monday at St. Anselm’s Church in San Anselmo and interment was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery. He was the son of the late Alphonse Berisson.
