EVA E. SNYDER
Eva Eleanor Snyder, former Mill Valley resident, died yesterday in a Chico hospital after a brief illness. She was 63.
A native of Oregon, she was reared near Baker, Ore. She and her late husband, Homer, had lived in Mill Valley for many years before moving to Chico two years ago.
Mrs. Snyder had been an active volunteer for various Marin charities and youth organizations.
She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Snyder of Petaluma and Sharon Bednarz of San Rafael; her mother, Mary J. Coleman of Baker, Ore.; three sisters, Lula Ritsch of Forest Ranch, CA., Valeta Lammert of Portland, Ore., and Vina Schultz of Eugene, Ore.; a brother, Carl Davis of Baker, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Beatty Funeral Chapel, Baker, Ore. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Baker.
