ROSEMARIE BILL
Rosemarie Bill, 45-year-old San Rafael mother and volunteer, died yesterday in a local hospital after collapsing while playing tennis Saturday.
Mrs. Bill was born and reared in Weed, Siskiyou County, and went to high school there. She also attended San Jose State University, working as a secretary afterwards.
She and her husband, George W. Bill, an insurance broker, and their children lived in San Francisco until moving to Marin 13 years ago.
Mrs. Bill had been a volunteer at Marin General Hospital for 11 years, member of both the Carousel and gift shop branches of the hospital volunteers.
She also was a member of St. Isabella’s Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughter, Paula; two sons, Marc and Peter Bill, all of the family home; her mother, Domenica Patella of Weed; her sister, Joyce Patella of Weed, and two brothers, Peter Patella of Weed and John Patella of Davis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Isabella’s Church. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the church. Burial will be in Bahia Valley Memorial Park, Novato.
Visitation will be at Williams and Heffernan Mortuary in San Rafael until 5 p.m. tomorrow.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Marin General Hospital Volunteers.
