EDWARD A. ROBBINS Dies At 75

Funeral for Edward A. Robbins, a 25-year Marin resident, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Russell and Gooch Funeral Home in Mill Valley.

Robbins, 75, died Sunday in a Placer County hospital following a long illness.

A native of New York, he came to California 30 years ago. At the time of his death, he resided at 41 Plymouth Avenue, Mill Valley.

Robbins was an army veteran of World War I. Before retiring, he was federal auditor for 25 years.

Last year he and his wife, Rebecca Robbins, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

He was a member of the Mill Valley Lodge No. 356, Free and Accepted Mason, the Mill Valley Chapter No. 108, Royal Arch Masons, and the White Shrine of San Rafael. He also was a past patron of the Eastern Star of Mill Valley.

Survivors include his wife of the family home; a daughter, Barbara Lenley of Eureka; a son, Edward S. Robbins of Agana, Guam; three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. tomorrow.

Burial will be private.

The family has asked that memorial gifts be made to the Shriners’ Hospital in San Francisco.
