Funeral Services For Mrs. Ellen Vanderlip

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Ellen E. Vanderlip, widow of the late John T. Vanderlip and mother of Mrs. Libbie Kettlewell and Dr. George G. Vanderlip.

She passed away Saturday night at the home of her son, Dr. Vanderlip, after an illness of four weeks. She was stricken shortly after her return from a four months’ visit with relatives in Indiana, on which she was accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Kettlewell. She was 80 years and 4 months of age, and was a native of New York State.

Mrs. Vanderlip had resided in San Rafael since 1913, coming here from San Francisco immediately following the death of her husband. The funeral services were held at the residence, 421 E street and burial was made by the F. E. Sawyer Company in Woodlawn cemetery, San Mateo.
