SMITHBURN, Edward T. Archer -- Born September 7, 1918, passed away on January 12, 2001. He grew up in Santa Rosa and Berkeley and was a resident of Oakland for the past 40 years. Married to the love of his life, Gloria Vercelli Smithburn, for 60 years, he spread his love, kindness, gentle ways and warm sense of humor on all of us who were lucky enough to have him in our lives.
In sweet memory, your loving children, Sharon Sutter of Larkspur and Dennis Smithburn of Oakland; your cherished grandchildren, Cheri Edwards of Oregon, Mark Sutter of Oakley, Eric Sutter of San Francisco and Blake and Allie Boyer of Larkspur; and your adoring great-grandchildren, Desiree and Jazlyn Edwards of Oregon.
At his request, no services were held.
