RONALD C. DELUCCHI
Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald C. Delucchi, active for years in youth sports in Corte Madera, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Larkspur.
Delucchi died Sunday at his home. He was 47.
He was coach and head coach for nine years for the Redwood Pop Warner football team in Larkspur until 1974, and also was active for 15 years in Twin Cities Little League.
More recently, he was involved in Babe Ruth baseball.
Delucchi was president of Delucchi Sheet Metal in San Francisco and had lived in Corte Madera for 20 years.
Born in San Francisco, he was a lifelong California resident. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Delucchi was a past director of the Marin Catholic Boosters board and a member of the Italian Athletic Club of Marin and the Sheet Metal Contractors’ Association of San Francisco.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn J., and four children, all of the home address: Joan, Richard, Phillip and David Delucchi; another daughter, Roni Smith, also of Corte Madera; his mother, Helen A. Delucchi of San Francisco; a brother, William J. Delucchi of San Bruno; and two grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at St. Patrick’s Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
The family requests contributions to the Corte Madera Firefighters’ Association.
